Law Amendments
 
  1. The field of play will be a maximum of 70 yards long and 45 yards wide. It will consist of a centre spot. A goal area 12 yards long by 16 yards wide. A penalty spot 12 yards from the goal line. The goalposts will be full size 24 feet by 8 feet.
  2. The ball used is a regulation size 5.
  3. The Teams - Each team shall consist of a maximum of seven players on the field at any one time, one of which shall be a nominated goalkeeper.
  4. The start – Each half will start with a DROP BALL. After a goal has been scored the game will be re-started with a kick off from the centre spot.
  5. Duration of games - Section games will last 15 minutes. That is 2 halves of 7 minutes 30 seconds plus any time added on by the referee. The final will last 10 minutes each way plus any additional time added by the referee. Sudden death will take place over a further 5 minutes if required then penalty kicks shall determine a winner if required.
  6. Offside -There shall be NO offside.
  7. Free kicks – The opposing team shall retire at least SIX yards from the ball at free kicks.
  8. Goal Kicks can be taken from ANYWHERE inside the goal area. The Ball must be static and must leave that area before being played by another player or the taker.
  9. Corner Kicks will be taken, A goal can be scored direct from a corner kick.
  10. Substitutes – Each team can use a maximum of TWO substitutes per game. These substitutions must take place during a stoppage in the game and MUST  be notified to the referee. A substituted player CANNOT return to the field of play in the same match.
  11. Objections – Where a team has any reason to lodge an objection, this objection must be made to the organisers within 5 minutes of the match being completed or before the match takes place. The organisers decision in all tournament related matters is final.
  12. All other laws of the game apply except where outlined above.

 

Remember that ALL serious discipline problems WILL be reported to the relevant authorities.

Winning Teams will be required to be photographed with the sponsor’s logo.
